The PDC World Darts Championship, sponsored by William Hill is running until January 4th, and to coincide with this, new-in play darts app has been launched.

The William Hill World Darts Championship 2014/15 has begun, running until January 4th at Alexandria Palace in London. To tie in with the event, William Hill have launched a new in-play Darts app at the Apple Store.

Wager on Darts as it Happens

The app is a brand new feature that lets users bet on 26 markets in each match, such as under/over, red/green, highest checkout, leg winner, 180's total, and correct score. On top of this, it features full player stats, live match simulations from all of the biggest British Darts Association and Professional Darts Corporation events, plus of course, a full results service.

Available exclusively at Apple's App Store, existing William Hill players can log in straight away, while new users will be able to sign up to William Hill online and then access the full features of the app.

Commenting on the launch, Jamie Hart, the director of innovation and customer experience at William Hill said ''We're really excited about the start of the William Hill World Darts Championship and the launch of our new darts app... I think we've hit the bullseye with this app and believe it will be a massive hit with darts fans.''
